Student protection
The commitments ScholarVoya makes to students and applicants, and where each of them shows in the platform.

No promises we cannot keep
ScholarVoya never guarantees an admission, the recognition of a degree, a job, a visa, an invitation or permanent residence. See Guidance, not guarantees.
Verified institutions and programmes
Online programmes are advertised only after ScholarVoya has verified the institution and the evidence of its accreditation. See how we verify institutions.
Your money
- ScholarVoya does not hold your tuition: you pay the institution, by the means it gives you.
- Optional paid services are kept apart from admissions, job offers and government decisions: paying never buys one.
- ScholarVoya does not charge job seekers to apply for a job or to be interviewed by an employer.
- What can be refunded, and how, is on the refunds page.
Your documents and your data
- We ask for sensitive documents step by step, only when a step needs them, and say what they are for.
- You decide who sees your profile and your documents, and can change it at any time.
See Privacy and security.
Immigration rules, with their source
Visa requirements show their official source and the date ScholarVoya last checked them. Questions that need regulated immigration advice or legal advice are passed to people authorised to give it.
A person checks
A ScholarVoya officer checks every application before it goes to an institution. Alerts on documents and accounts are looked at by a person, and never reject anything on their own.
A record of what was done
ScholarVoya keeps a history of partner verifications, changes to rules, applications, payments and what its staff do, so that a question can be answered later.
Young people
If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must agree to your use of ScholarVoya. A school sees only its students' career guidance, and a parent or sponsor only what the student chose to share.
If something goes wrong
Make a complaint or report fraud: both are read by a person.
