Accredited online degrees
Earn a recognised degree from home. Every online programme on ScholarVoya comes from a university accredited to award it in its own country, and we check the evidence.
How it works
ScholarVoya handles your application and admission. The university does the rest: it sets the fees, invoices you and teaches you on its own platform.
- 1Apply through ScholarVoyaOne profile and one set of documents for every application, as for programmes on campus.
- 2Get admittedScholarVoya checks your application, then the university decides and makes its offer.
- 3Pay the universityOnce you accept, the university sends its payment details and invoices you. You pay it directly: ScholarVoya takes no tuition payment.
- 4Start your courseThe university gives you access to its learning platform, and you open it from your application.
What we check
Before an online programme is shown to you, ScholarVoya checks that the university may award the degree:
- The accrediting authority in the university’s own country
- Its register entry or decision, which anyone can check
- The degree the programme leads to
- Again every year, or when the accreditation ends: a programme whose accreditation ended is hidden
Good to know
- No visa needed
- You study from home, so there is no visa step. If the university asks you to attend in person, it tells you.
- Fees and payment
- The university sets its fees and how to pay. Its invoice and payment details come with your accepted offer.
- Recognition at home
- Accreditation in the university’s country is not recognition everywhere. Check with your employer or your country’s authorities if you need the degree recognised.
